At Orama we do our very best to make you feel at home and part of the family. A warm welcome to all who come and a spirit of generosity have been important values and part of our DNA since Orama began back in the 60's.

Our desire is that during your stay you feel respected, cared-for and supported, and that you leave having been refreshed and restored - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Our staff are eager to help, and are always up for a chat or for sharing stories over a cuppa or a meal - so don't be shy about reaching out.

If you'd like to engage a bit more deeply with our on-site community then you are very welcome to join us for morning tea at 10:30am (week days) in the dining room or for community fellowship on wednesday nights at 7:30am upstairs in the lounge. If during your visit you have deeper support or pastoral care needs then please talk to the duty manager, or see Ryan or Anne Marie at reception.
