It's always sad when members of our community move on to the next stage in their journey, and even though Hillary Outdoors instructors aren't formally part of our community they are very much part of our Orama family. After three and a half years with Hillary and living on-site at Orama Kevin Hogan has gone back to Canada to spend time with family. Kevin has been a great friend to us all and a favourite with the kids. He will be sorely missed. At his farewell morning tea he shared deeply about what being part of the Orama had meant to him and the significant impact the community had had on his life. As is our tradition at farewells we each shared about how Kevin had impacted our lives both individually and as a community - and of course sang the blessing song.

The Lord bless you and keep you,
The Lord make his face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you.
The Lord lift up his countenance on you,
And give you peace.

Haere rā Kevin.
