We are very pleased to have Wm. Paul Young (the author of the 'The Shack') with us this summer. This will be a unique opportunity to meet and hear the author of 'The Shack' while enjoying a relaxing holiday on Great Barrier Island.  Paul will share not only his personal journey, which is the real story behind the shack, but also his many insights into the nature and character of God. 'The Shack' has been the center of much controversy since its wide distribution, however, the shack is really just a metaphor for the place we keep all of our pain, sorrow, abuse and dissappointment we have encountered through life.  The God encounter during the weekend in the shack represents 11 years of Pauls adult life that finally brought him recovery and healing.  This will be a week to inspire, challenge, refresh and hopefully bring you an encounter with the God who is particularly fond of you.
